Turns the portable battery node into 2 duracell batteries, it maintains the original portable battery node hitbox but also has a little bit more of a hitbox on the ground so people can collide slightly with it, shouldn't change gameplay at all.

Simple server side mod that makes the team spawn with 2 Spawns, and 3 spawns if the team size is larger than 8 players. Beyond that it is up to the commander to build their own extra infantry portals.

This is based on the logic that Tremulous players generally have; Most maps start with two spawns and the team builders usually place an extra telenode or egg for every 6 players or so on their team (One spawn for every 2 players), however the lifespan of a marine in NS2 is much longer than Trem so the turn over count is 8 players instead of 6.

As of Natural Selection update 238, UWE has introduced a new “redeployment” behaviour to cyst placement, and have included an inner radius circle much like the one in this mod. Thus this mod is no longer required. Thanks to all those who enjoyed it while it was useful.

Original Description:


In the recently released build 236 of NS2, the minimum distance between cysts has been increased from 2m to 6m. This has made cyst placement more difficult and in some cases almost impossible.

I present this Khammander Interface mod that eases the uncertainty of cyst placement by explicitly highlighting areas within which a cyst cannot be placed.

Note: As this circle texture is used for more than just cyst placement, it will appear in places where it is not relevant, however I feel that the need to know where cyst placement is legal, when the stakes are high, more than makes up for that. I hope you agree, and find this mod useful.
