Avatar «NF» RuneStorm 🅳🅴🆅1509653165HQ Worldmodels**This mod is now an empty archive, subscribing to it won't do anything since all the changes have been merged into the main game with patch 327!**

This mod will replace all the low quality world models with new hand-optimized ones that are based on the viewmodel, so expect higher quality worldmodels that reuse the viewmodels UV at roughly the same polycount as the old ones, which makes creation of skins much easier since there aren't two different texture sets anymore. Works with all skins!

Anyone who tried making a skin probably noticed that the worldmodel uses comepletly different UVs that aren't compatible with the viewmodel, which results in double the work.

The new textures are the same size as the old ones and the texture quality is identical, and so is the memory footprint. No need to worry about performance lad.

Additionally the model for commander dropped jetpacks has been replaced with something that isn't upside down and stuck in the floor. You're welcome :)

-Lasts 2 seconds, increases bite damage by 20% (to 90 damage), has a 1 second cooldown afterwards.

-Skulk explodes for 100 area damage if it dies while Xenocide is active.

-Xenocide damage radius and range decay off tweaked. Radius reduced to 10. Enemies within 3m radius receive full damage, falls off to 20% damage over remaining range.

-Xenocide energy cost lowered to 15. Fixed zero energy cost bug.

-Skulk Bots now use Xenocide when it becomes available.

Prowler can now glide by holding Jump key, and "climb" walls by holding the movement modifier key.

Prowler can air jump every 0.7 seconds.

Crouching while flying (gliding) disables gliding.

Secondary fire now spawns hallucination Prowler instead of a Skulk by default. Skulks bots can now evolve to Prowler.

Increased prowler spit damage to 63 (7x9). Increased prowler spit spread (decreased accuracy).

Reverted Drifter changes.

Replaces NS2 pistol with NS1 pistol :) hope you all enjoy, i know the texture sizes are huge, however if you open them up they look pretty neat :D

note: Please disable camera animation in general settings in NS2 as the camera isn't attached,

Let me know if there's any other issues you need to be using default model for this to work, otherwise you can edit some .lua and replace all varients with this one.

* reduced rifle marine effectiveness as no upgrades to damage early on
* buffed shotgun, hmg damage to be comparable to weapons 2 upgrades
* Marines start with more armour
* Reduced the cost of weapons
* Increased the cost of weapon research\n\n\nSpecific changes

*Marine base armour increased from 30 to 50
*Passive armour and weapon upgrades changed to have one level researchable
*Armour and Weapons upgrades now cost 30 tres each, need AA researched

*Heavy machinegun now about 25% more damage than rifle
*Heavy machinegun spread reduced from 4 to 3.2
*Buy cost of HMG reduced to 15 from 20

*Shotgun damage increased to weapons 2 level
*Shotgun cost reduced to 15 from 20

*Flamethrower, heavymachinegun and grenade launcher now separate researches on the advanced armory
